Driver in critical condition after crash
GoogleA man remains in a critical condition after the car he was driving crashed off the road when he suffered what police believe to have been a "medical episode".
The man was driving a red Toyota BZ4X when it left the road and came to a rest in the wooded area of Station Road, in Allerton Bywater, between the junctions of Station Terrace and Back Lane.
The driver, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while his passenger was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
West Yorkshire Police is appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant footage of the crash, which happened at about 21:45 BST on Wednesday, to come forward.
