Fire service height vehicle back on duty
BBCOne of Kent Fire and Rescue Service's height vehicles has returned to service after firefighters relied on support from London Fire Brigade to tackle a flat fire in Folkestone.
The London crew and vehicle were called in after a blaze near Grove Road, close to Dover Road, on Tuesday.
KFRS said three of its height vehicles were temporarily unavailable due to technical issues".
A KFRS spokesperson said one of its height vehicles is now "available to respond" and the LBF was "no longer stationed in the county".
Matthew Deadman, director of response and resilience at (KFRS) had explained they were using a pre-planned agreement with their colleagues at LBF to have one of their height vehicles based in the county.
KFRS has not confirmed when the other two height vehicles would return to service.
