Services disrupted after person hit by train

Trains between London and Stevenage have been disrupted after a person was hit by a train.

National Rail said services may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised, and this situation was expected until 15:00 BST.

Thameslink said no trains would run between Welwyn Garden City and Stevenage until further notice. LNER said customers could use tickets on alternative services.

The BBC has approached British Transport Police for comment.
