MP's sexual assault trial shown CCTV of him in bar
CCTV video played in court showed an MP at a London club the night he allegedly sexually assaulted two women.
Jurors were told the slowed-down footage showed Patrick Spencer, MP for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, unsteady on his feet at the Groucho Club in August 2023.
He is accused of approaching the women and drunkenly putting his arms around them before touching their breasts.
Spencer, who lives in Suffolk, has denied two counts of sexual assault. The trial continues.
