A free summer festival featuring live music, food and family activities is set to take place in Ewell next month.

Bourne Hall, a community hub in Ewell village, Surrey, will host the event on 20 June from 12:00 to 17:00 BST, with organisers promising a day of entertainment for all ages.

The festival will include performances from local musicians and bands, with artists supported by the iPlay Collective – a local organisation nurturing emerging performers – showcasing talent throughout the day.

Visitors will also be able to browse market stalls selling handmade goods, including jewellery, homeware and craft items.

There will also be stalls from community organisations and local services, such as the Home Improvement Agency, Epsom Playhouse, the Dementia Hub, Bourne Hall Museum and Ewell Library.

Fairground attractions, including rides and activities for children, will run alongside food stalls offering options such as burgers, nachos, candyfloss and ice cream.

Councillor Clive Woodbridge said the event would be "a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together", adding that it would highlight the "vibrant community spirit" of the borough.
