Pedestrian dies after collision with HGV on A14

A pedestrian has died after an HGV collided with him on the A14, police have said.

The man in his 20s died at the scene of the incident near junction 11 at Cranford, Northamptonshire.

Police said the collision occurred between the driver of a white Daf HGV and the pedestrian on the eastbound carriageway, at about 15:00 BST on Saturday.

Officers have appealed for witnesses and any dashcam footage.
