Road closure warning as water pipes are installed
PA MediaMotorists are being warned that a route in Spalding faces closures over the coming weeks while new water pipes are installed.
The £800,000 project is due to start on South Drove between Pode Hole and Littleworth Drove on Tuesday and is expected to last until September. The road closures are scheduled to start on 1 June.
Anglian Water said there would be temporary traffic lights in use, but some parts of the road would have to be shut.
Access for residents would be maintained, the firm said, and local water supply and sewerage services "shouldn't be affected".
"If the water company does need to switch off the water supply for a short time, advance warning will be given," said Megan Sperryn, from Anglian Water.
"One end of the road will be completely closed, but the other will stay open just enough for you to carefully drive past our work."
