A bus driver who crashed into a bridge has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

An investigation was launched after a Bee Network double-decker crashed at the junction of Barton Road and Trafford Road in Eccles, Salford, at about 15:00 BST on 21 July 2025.

Christopher Henry, from Tameside, has been charged with three counts.

The 57-year-old has been bailed and is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on 15 September.
