Schools lockdown over suspicious behaviour reports

West Midlands Police said it gave the advice as a precaution on Thursday afternoon, while it carried out a search of the area.
After officers were initially unable to find the man, schools were told they could release childen.
At 17:00, the force said it had "identified and spoken to" a person pictured in social media images, adding they were satisfied he was not carrying a weapon.
As well as viewing the social media images, officers had "reviewed other, higher-quality imagery from the area" and said no offences had been committed.
"We appreciate the concern that this incident has caused in the area, and would thank the community, particularly the schools who kept children back, for their support," the force said.
