Woman pedestrian seriously injured by car
GoogleA woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in Hull.
The 63-year-old pedestrian was crossing County Road South near the junction with Dayton Road at about 18:50 BST on Tuesday when the incident happened, Humberside Police said.
She was taken to hospital "after sustaining a serious hip injury", the force added.
A police spokesperson said: "The driver remained at the scene to await emergency services and is assisting with our enquiries at this time".
Nobody else was injured and investigators are appealing for witnesses or any dashcam and CCTV footage.
