Man admits causing toddler's death in crash
GoogleA man has admitted causing the death of a 20-month-old boy following a three-vehicle crash.
Hristo Iliev, 32, of Hide Close, Boston, pleaded guilty to causing death by driving a Volkswagen Passat dangerously on 19 March last year.
Lincoln Crown Court heard the crash happened near the Holdingham roundabout on the A17, near Sleaford, at about 16:45 GMT.
The toddler was airlifted to hospital, but died two days later. The driver of one of the vehicles was also seriously injured.
Judge Catarina Sjolin-Knight refused an application to extend Iliev's bail and remanded him into custody.
Iliev is due to be sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on 11 June.
