Woman in her 80s dies after crash at junction

A woman in her 80s has died following a collision at a junction.

Norfolk Police said the incident involved a blue Citroen C1 travelling south along Beccles Road and a black Land Rover Discovery which was travelling in the opposite direction, at the junction with Church Lane in Bradwell on Saturday at 12:06 BST.

The driver of the Citroen, a woman in her 80s, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

The road was closed while emergency services attended and the force is appealing for anyone to come forward who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage.
