Northern Lights illuminate the East of England
BBC Weather Watchers/squizNight owls and stargazers have been treated to a spectacular display of colour, as the Northern Lights lit up the skies across the East of England.
People across the region captured the green and pink glow on their cameras on Saturday night.
Also known as the Aurora Borealis, the naturally occurring spectacle is the result of solar eruptions sending particles towards Earth and interacting with particles in the atmosphere.
The Met Office said sightings could continue to be possible during clear skies until Tuesday.
