Two arrested for fatal stabbing of man in his 50s
John NurdenA murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Sheerness.
Kent Police was called at 16:32 BST on Thursday to a disturbance at an address on Alma Road.
Inside, officers found a man in his 50s who had allegedly been stabbed. His next of kin have been informed.
A 32-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from the area, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody.
A cordon remains at the property while inquiries into the incident are under way, say the force.
Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet come forward to contact them.
Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam are also asked to check for footage that might help police with their inquiries.
