A man has been charged with causing a public nuisance after a police incident led to parts of an airport being brought to a standstill.

Car parks had to be closed at Manchester Airport's Terminal 2 on 27 May after an incident near the drop-off zone, leading to traffic jams.

Jack Reall, of Snowhill View in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, has been charged with causing a public nuisance and a public order offence.

The 47-year-old has been bailed and is due to appear at Stockport Magistrates' Court on 5 November.
