People in homes and businesses in part of Plymouth have been asked to shut windows and doors due to smoke from a "large" commercial property fire.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said on social media, multiple crews were tackling the blaze on Fish Quay.

The fire service has asked people to keep roads around the area clear so crews could access the site safely. No injuries have been reported.

Devon and Cornwall Police said it had assisted with road closures.

The fire service said crews had gained access to neighbouring units to prevent the fire spreading.
