Man left seriously injured after pub altercation

Police said the victim remained in a serious condition in hospital

A man has been left with serious head injuries following an altercation at a pub in Warwickshire.

The victim, in his 20s, was hurt at The Felix Holt pub on Stratford Street, Nuneaton, at about 23:45 BST on Saturday.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition, Warwickshire Police said.

Det Insp Oli Scarisbrick said officers were told the incident happened on the stairs inside the pub and inquiries were ongoing to locate the victim's attacker.

"We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist with our investigation," he added.
