Crash leaves biker with life-changing injuries

A motorcyclist has been left with life-changing injuries after a crash on a country lane.

Lancashire Police said the man, in his 30s, was hurt after his Yamaha FZ1 motorbike came off the road in Runshaw Hall Lane, Euxton, just before 15:30 GMT on Easter Sunday.

The force said the man is in a "serious but stable condition" in hospital and have appealed for any witnesses or any dashcam footage. No other vehicle was involved.

Sgt Mark Park said: "This collision has left the rider in hospital with some extremely serious injuries and my thoughts are with him and his loved ones."
