Cyclist seriously injured in crash with motorbike

A cyclist has been seriously injured in a crash with a motorbike.

It happened between a Honda VFR 800 A-6 motorbike and a pushbike on Bayhorse Road in Ellel, Lancaster, on Sunday at about 16:00 BST.

The cyclist, a man in his 70s, suffered serious injuries, and remains in hospital.

Inquiries into how the collision occurred are continuing and police have asked for any witnesses to contact them.
