Crews at Thursday's restaurant fire at Oulton Broad North station in Lowestoft

A fire at a railway station restaurant was likely caused by an electrical fault, an investigation has found.

Crews were called to Oulton Broad North station in Lowestoft, Suffolk, late on Thursday, where the roof of an Indian restaurant based on the platform was alight.

The fire was out by 06:00 BST, but it still led to Greater Anglia trains being disrupted.

In an update, a Suffolk Fire Service spokesperson said its investigation had determined there were no suspicious circumstances and "the most probable cause" was an electrical fault.
