Spurs star Kulusevski's speeding case adjourned

Tottenham winger Dejan Kulusevski's sentencing for speeding has been adjourned because magistrates could not tell whether he wanted the hearing to go ahead.

The Sweden international, 26, who already has 18 points on his licence, was caught doing 43mph in a 30mph zone in the Limehouse Link tunnel last September.

In an email to Barkingside Magistrates' Court, he said he could not attend on Monday as he was training after a year out injured. The star - who has a reported weekly wage of £110,000 - added that his young family relied on him to drive them.

Presiding magistrate Mary Millar said the bench was "not clear from that email" whether he wanted an adjournment, but granted one until 19 October.

Kulusevski said his offences mostly involved him being just over the speed limit but accepted he had been speeding again.

The former Juventus player, who missed last season and the 2026 World Cup with a knee injury, faces a driving ban.
