A 74-year-old woman has died in hospital after being hit by a motorbike in Glasgow more than a week ago.

The incident happened at about 7.45pm on Friday 12 December, near the junction of Pollokshaws Road and Queen Square.

The woman and the 52-year-old male biker were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The woman died on Sunday.

Police Scotland appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash, or may have dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.

Sergeant Jack Swindells said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died in this crash.

"Our inquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash and hasn't already spoken to officers to contact us."
