A road has been closed while firefighters tackle a blaze at a recycling centre in Worksop.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Claylands Avenue at 00:54 BST on Wednesday.

Five fire engines, two water carriers and a command support vehicle remained at the scene at 06:00.

Claylands Avenue has been closed by Nottinghamshire Police from the A57, with access to the business park from Gatesford Road.

A spokesperson for the fire service said there had been no reports of any injuries.

They added: "We will have a presence on site for most of the day as we continue to dampen down."
