Temporary speed limits for pre-race maintenance
SOUTHERN100 RACINGMotorists have been warned of possible disruption in the south of the Isle of Man as preparations takes place ahead of the start of the island's first road racing event of 2026.
A temporary speed restriction of 30mph (48km/h) is set to be placed on the 4.25-mile (6.8km) Billown Circuit between 09:30 BST and 15:30 each day until Friday.
The measure is to allow for general maintenance in preparation for the Pre-TT Classic Road Races, which take place from 22 to 24 May.
Roads subject to the restrictions run between Douglas Road, Malew Road, the Castletown Bypass and Ballakaigan Corner.
Organised by the Southern 100 Racing club, the event falls immediately before the Isle of Man TT races on the Mountain Course, which start on 25 May and runs until 6 June.
