BBCSainsbury's has confirmed the opening date for its first supermarket in Dumfries.
The new store will open in the former Homebase unit at Cuckoo Bridge Retail Park on 23 July at 09:00.
It is part of a wider programme to convert former Homebase stores into new supermarkets.
Sainsbury's said the £17m store would create about 130 full and part-time jobs. Staff have already been recruited and are currently in training ahead of the launch.
The supermarket will also host an in-store Argos, a groceries click and collect service, and ranges including Tu Clothing and Habitat.
Christian Wakelin, head of supermarket property development, said: "We hope local shoppers will enjoy the great value, improved local choice and convenience the store has to offer.
"We very much look forward to becoming a part of everyday life in Dumfries."
