Stagecoach marks one year of service on island
BBCA bus company is celebrating one year of service in Guernsey.
Stagecoach took over the running of the island's bus services in April 2025, after it replaced CT Plus, which had operated the buses since 2012.
The UK-based bus operator said it had covered more than 1.3 million miles (two million km) and carried about 1.7 million passengers over the last twelve months.
Peter Knight, managing director at Stagecoach South West said it was an "incredible" first year where his team had "worked tirelessly to ensure customers get a clean, reliable service".

Two electric buses were added to its fleet in January, in a bid to support the island's net-zero goals.
The operator said it was working with the States of Guernsey to "gradually replace" the diesel fleet with electric ones.
Deputy Adrian Gabriel, president of Guernsey's Committee for the Environment & Infrastructure, added; "As well as the day-to-day bus services, they've also used their extensive experience to help us propose changes to Guernsey's bus route map and timetable to improve the service for users."
