Police officers investigating a sex attack have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Nottinghamshire Police have said a female was assaulted in Outram Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, shortly after 12:30 GMT on Sunday 15 March.

The force released the image of a man in black baseball hat on Friday "after exhausting other lines of inquiry".

PC Daniel Black, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This was an extremely upsetting incident for the female victim, who was not known to the suspect."

He added: "After exhausting other lines of inquiry, we are now appealing for the public's help to identify the man pictured in this CCTV image.

"If this is you or you think you know who this is, please contact us immediately."
