GoodOaks Homecare was rated as being outstanding

A home care service is celebrating getting top marks after inspectors found it delivered "exceptional" support.

The Care Quality Commission has rated GoodOaks Homecare in Epsom and Reigate, Surrey, as outstanding following its first inspection in February.

It supports adults of all ages, including disabled people and those with mental health conditions.

Inspectors gave its caring and well-led categories the highest rating and marked the rest as "good".

The Care Quality Commission's Amy Jupp, said the team had built something "genuinely impressive".

Families told inspectors they felt involved in decisions and did not have to chase for updates, the Local Democracy Reporting Service said.

The director of GoodOaks at Epsom and Reigate said it tried to treat every client like family.

The firm's Emma Manning said she was "over the moon" with the result.
