Repairs to damaged youth club finished after crash
BBCRepairs to a Shropshire youth centre that was badly damaged when a lorry crashed into it have been completed.
The HGV crashed into parked vehicles, a railway bridge and the youth club building in Ludlow in the early hours of 28 April 2025.
Community and family hub services, usually held in the building, were moved to Helena Lane Community Centre.
Shropshire Council, which owns the building, said they were working with their partners and the local community to look at which services would be run from the site in future.
The work began in June, more than a year after the crash.
The damaged systems including the fire alarm and electrics.
A man was charged over the crash and is next due at Shrewsbury Crown Court in 2028.
