Main road closed in city after serious crash

A main road in Derby has been closed following a serious crash.

Derbyshire Police said Harvey Road (A5111) was closed on Wednesday morning between Coleman Street and Siddons Street following a crash between a car and a motorcycle.

The force said the road would remain closed for some time.

It advised motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
