Road closure alert for 'emergency patch repairs'
PA MediaMotorists have been warned of a temporary road closure prompted by emergency highways work that is needed.
Bankfield Road, between the Nettlefolds Way and Black Country Route junctions, was closed on Monday and will be shut again on Tuesday, between 09:30 BST and 14:30, Wolverhampton City Council confirmed.
A diversion route will be in place along Nettlefolds Way, Dudley Street, Babbington Drive, Ambergate Road, Coseley Road, Coseley Road Island and the Black Country Route.
A listing on the One Network website, which tracks traffic disruption across the UK, said the closure was due to "emergency patch repairs" and that the footpath remained open.
