GoogleA teenage boy has been seriously injured after he was "pushed off his bike" by a male on an electric scooter.
The 16-year-old, who was cycling along Kirkstone Avenue, in St Helens, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was pushed off his bike into a stationary vehicle at about 14:55 BST.
A 12-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody as investigations continue, Merseyside Police said.
A police scene is currently in place on Kirkstone Avenue, and officers remain in the area to carry out house-to-house, CCTV and forensic enquiries, the force added.

"I would urge anyone who was in the area of Kirkstone Avenue who witnessed the incident or has CCTV, dashcam or doorbell camera footage to come forward and speak to us."
