Only the tenant will be allowed to live in 17 Mallard Close, Ramsey, for three months

Police have closed a house for three months after people living nearby had to put up with ongoing anti-social behaviour, a force has said.

Only the tenant will be allowed to live at 17 Mallard Close, Ramsey, after a court order was granted, Cambridgeshire Police said.

It said the partial closure order was issued at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court following an application from Cambridgeshire Constabulary's St Ives Neighbourhood team.

It said it was to prevent "those who have been attending to commit anti-social behaviour and other criminal offences".

PC Sam Lokuliyanage-Perera, from the Neighbourhood team, said: "People living near the property have had to put up with months of anti-social behaviour.

"The partial closure order will allow the tenant to remain living at the address but will prevent those who have been attending to commit anti-social behaviour and other criminal offences."

No-one is allowed to "enter except the tenant, the landlord and the emergency services until 8 July 2026" the force said, adding that breaching the order could result in arrest.
