Man in his 20s dies in two-vehicle crash
BBCA man in his 20s has died following a two-vehicle crash in Wiltshire.
Wiltshire Police said a Mercedes Benz CLA was travelling westbound on Double Hedges towards Durrington, and a Volkswagen T Cross was travelling in the opposite direction towards Bulford when the collision happened.
Emergency services were called to the A3028 at 20:45 BST on Wednesday, but the driver of the Mercedes was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said his family had been informed.
The Volkswagen caught fire during the crash and was destroyed. The force said the woman driving the car was taken to hospital.
Road closures were in place overnight to allow investigators to carry out inquiries.
The force has asked any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team.
