Motorcyclist dies after crash with car

A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a car in Doncaster, police said.

Emergency services were called at about 11.35 BST on Saturday to reports of a crash involving a white Honda and a red and black Triumph motorbike on Bawtry Road, at the junction with Tickhill Road.

The motorcyclist, a 51-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene and his family are being supported by officers, South Yorkshire Police said.

The Honda driver stayed at the scene to assist with inquiries, the force said. Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has footage is urged to contact police.
