Men suffer 'significant injuries' in nightclub

A man and a woman are being sought by police investigating a "public order incident" in a nightclub which left two men with significant injuries.

Avon and Somerset Police said the victims suffered the injuries at a venue on North Parade in Bath at about 02:40 GMT on 21 March.

The force said the incident involved "several people", and two arrests had already been made.

Anyone with mobile phone footage of the incident has been asked to contact police.

The first person police want to trace has been described as a white man with short brown hair, who was wearing a grey tracksuit.

The second is described as a white woman with blonde/light brown hair who was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts.

So far a man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of causing ABH and possessing a class A drug. A woman in her 20s was also arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and on suspicion of obstructing a police officer.

The woman has been released under investigation while the arrested man has been released on conditional bail.

"A number of enquiries have been carried out, and we have interviewed several people in relation to the incident, and the venue has cooperated with our investigation," police added.
