Thousands have celebrated May Morning in Oxford city centre.

Early risers gathered at the foot of Magdalen College to hear the choir sing from the top of the Great Tower, welcoming the rising sun at 06:00 BST.

They sang Over the Rainbow and Hymnus Eucharisticus to the packed crowd below.

About 18,500 people turned out to see in the morning earlier.
