A Kosovan soldier accused of rape will be retried after the jury in his trial failed to reach a verdict.

Bali Hoxha, 29, was accused of attacking a woman in Norwich in September 2025.

His new trial would start on 23 November at Norwich Crown Court and last about five days, the Crown Prosecution Service said.

Hoxha, who has denied a single charge of rape, has been remanded into custody until his trial commences.
