Family tribute to 'loving boy' killed in stabbing
Family HandoutThe mother of a teenager who died in a stabbing over the Easter weekend has paid tribute to her "loyal, loving, funny boy".
Ashton Harrington, 19, was found dead in the early hours of 3 April in Belmont Road, Whitstable, with injuries consistent of stab wounds.
His mother, Camille Harrington, described him as a doting father, and able to light up a room with his smile and laugh.
In a statement issued via Kent Police, she said: "My son didn't deserve to be taken so cruelly. He had his whole life ahead of him."
He had a daughter, brothers and "idolised" his stepdad, his family said.
His mother said: "He had the biggest personality and was loved by all that knew him.
"We won't stop until we get justice for you Ashton, we love you so so much and life will never be the same without you.
'I'm so glad he spent his last day with his daughter and myself, and I will cherish this forever. I hope wherever you are you are happy," she said.
"This isn't goodbye, this is see you later, love you Ash."
Two men, Kieron Barnes and Tobias Agbaje, have been charged with his murder and have been remanded in police custody, ahead of their next appearance at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday.
