Ferry sailings resume after weather disruption
BBCFerry sailings between the Isle of Man and Lancashire have resumed after gales caused disruption to schedules over the weekend.
The Manxman left Douglas at 08:30 BST after its evening and overnight sailings to and from Heysham were cancelled.
The flagship vessel was instead used to operate a return crossing to Larne, after Saturday's planned sailing to Northern Ireland was rescheduled due to the weather.
The weekend also so the cancellation of several sailings between the island and Liverpool by the fast craft Manannan due to the choppy conditions.
Back-up vessel the Ben-My-Chree carried out a freight run between the island and Heysham on Sunday evening in the wake of the disruption.
