Section of A27 reopens following fatal crash

A section of the A27 has reopened following a fatal crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

Sussex Police said it was called to the westbound carriageway of Arundel Road in Angmering at about 22:40 BST on Friday night and a section of the road was closed.

The pedestrian, a 20-year-old local man, was confirmed dead at the scene and police said the cause of the crash remained under investigation.

The force has appealed for anyone with information about the crash to get in touch.
