Swimming sessions limited at leisure centre

The country has been gripped in a heatwave bringing record-breaking temperatures, and red warnings for extreme heat have been in place over many areas of the country.
WV Active said swimming sessions at its Bilston-Bert Williams centre would be capped at 60 minutes to reduce waiting times and "give everyone a chance to swim". The time slots start on the hour, every hour.
Lane swimming will be limited at the site's busiest times to accommodate more general swimmers.
A coloured wristband system is in place for customers during these measures.
WV Active said the changes were temporary and and would be reviewed after the weekend, as temperatures begin to drop.
