Stocks climb thanks to semiconductors and strong earnings
Semiconductors lifted the broader market ahead of the open, with Marvell and Micron each gaining about six percent, Astera Labs also climbed, and Intel rose more than five percent. The rebound follows a down session as traders assessed rising US–Iran tensions, with nightly US strikes and Iranian attacks across the region. Oil prices continue to move as mediators pushed a proposed 10‑day ceasefire.
