New royal goats born in Guernsey

Several new Royal Golden Guernsey Goats have been born on a farm in Guernsey.

The Guernsey Goat Farm in Torteval has welcomed about 18 kids in the past few months.

The indigenous breed received a royal title during King Charles III's visit to Guernsey in July 2024.

Co-owner of the farm, Peter Girard, said the new arrivals were "settling in very well" but hoped more could be done to support the rare breed on the island.
