Watch: Animals enjoy spooktacular Halloween treats
Animals at a zoo have been enjoying an early taste of Halloween with some special treats.
Leading the charge at Whipsnade, was rhino Hugo, who stomped on pumpkins to uncover his favourite snacks hidden within, while lemurs and macaques tucked into carved pumpkins filled with sweetcorn and peppers.
Keepers have been trying to find creative ways to encourage the animals' natural instincts to hunt and explore at the zoo in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
Matthew Webb, head of zoological operations, said: "As everyone counts down to Halloween, our zookeepers have used seasonal squashes to make sure the animals don't miss out on any of the fun."
