Watch: VHS tapes and computers handed to police as Thomas Markle is investigated
A court in the Philippine city of Cebu has approved a warrant permitting police to examine material taken from the former home of Thomas Markle, father of the Duchess of Sussex, which is alleged to contain images showing the sexual abuse of children.
Thomas Markle has strongly denied possessing any child abuse material.
His son, who has been living with him in Cebu, told the police he discovered the material in the house where his father resided before returning to the United States earlier this year.
The BBC's Jonathan Head is in Cebu, reporting from outside the home.
