Why Elon Musk lost in the OpenAI court battle against Sam Altman

A jury has delivered a unanimous verdict in Elon Musk's case against OpenAI's Sam Altman, agreeing that Musk waited too long to file his lawsuit, essentially expiring his claims.

Musk had accused Altman of breaching a non-profit contract by shifting the ChatGPT-maker to a for-profit company after Musk donated $38m (£28.5m) early in OpenAI's history.
