Wolves reveal matchday prices in Championship
Ryan LeisterWolverhampton Wanderers have revealed the cost of matchday ticket prices ahead of their new season in the Championship.
The cost of a ticket for an adult member has been cut by 10%, which follows on from a minimum 25% drop in the cost of a season ticket announced in April.
Ryan Leister, from The Wolves Report podcast, said he felt the new membership pricing was reasonable and fans would start to see the financial benefits if they went to at least 10 games.
Reducing season ticket costs, he said, was "an absolute must", although they remained among the highest in the Championship.
"Over the last few years at Wolves, the standard of football has deteriorated but the prices continued to rise," he said.
"For the new executive chairman, reducing the season tickets after relegation was an absolute must and although the reductions are notable, it must be noted that the new prices still come in at the upper end of Championship pricing.

The club was relegated in April after eight years in the Premier League.
Fans aired their anger at the owners and the way the club was being run, and in December, then executive chairman Jeff Shi stepped down after 10 years with the club.
Now with new executive chairman Nathan Shi and manager César Peixoto, the club is hoping to bounce back to the top flight.
"Wolves have been making effort to rebuild the bridges and although some foundations have been laid, it's fair to say that the trust is low and plenty more work needs to be done before the Molineux faithful start to believe in the custodians entrusted to take Wolves back to the Premier League," Leister added.
The club's Championship campaign kicks off against Blackburn Rovers on 14 August, with tickets initially on sale to members, a spokesperson said.
