Boy, 15, arrested over rape at railway station

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of rape at a railway station in Surrey.

The incident happened at Guildford Railway Station at about 19:00 GMT on 19 January 2025.

The suspect approached the 17-year-old victim and her friends as they walked to the railway station, separated her from the group and raped her, police said.

A boy, 15, was arrested on Wednesday and has since been released on conditional bail while investigations remain ongoing, British Transport Police said.
