Three people have been charged in connection with a stabbing that left a teenager critically injured.

Soleh Uzair, aged 18 from Halesowen and two 17-year-old boys, from Smethwick, have been charged with attempt murder.

The 19-year-old male victim was stabbed during a fight involving a group of teenagers on Thursday afternoon, West Midlands Police (WMP) said. He remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

The three accused had been expected to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court earlier.

WMP has issued an appeal for anyone who saw what happened and might be able to help with inquiries to contact them.
